This is me last week adding the last item from my apartment into the back of a U-Haul trailer:
At the end of this month I am flying to Scotland to pursue my masters degree...without my sewing machine! My friends and family don't believe that I can survive without my Bernina and all my fabric but it's a change I'm looking forward to! The frequency of posts to this blog will decrease, but I still have some projects to share!
I appreciate all of you who read my blog and I promise that I am not abandoning my sewing machine for good - only for a little while!
Ruth, only you would have the neatest moving van ever! I'm so sorry to have missed you and your mom last week. I'll miss having you nearby. But look forward to reading your adventures in Scotland!

ReplyDeleteAwww...congrats Ruth on going to Scotland. Everybody needs a little break from something every now and then. Not having your sewing machine will help you to further step outside your comfort zone. Have fun and I'm sure your mom will be over to visit often.
