If you are looking for a new placemat pattern to try I would suggest the one on Handmade by Alissa's blog. These placemats were a house warming gift for my friends Will & Jessica.
I will admit that these placemats took me a little longer than I anticipated...with all of the quilting and having to bind them all...but totally worth it.
