MQG Mug Rug Swap

At the March Modern Quilt Guild meeting we swapped photos & fabric to have a Mug Rug Swap. A mug rug is a version of a mini-quilt that you can use to put a cup of tea and a delicious baked good of your choice.

I drew Connie's name and she gave me this photo as my inspiration:

I love how different they all turned out:

Kate brought in two antique quilts - this one was a log cabin made from silks with lots of detailed hand embroidery:

  1. The mugs rugs are wonderful! I am so bummed that I was not able to attend again. I will do my very best to attend the June meeting, which will be my first.
